What to ask of God?

People from every nation, religion, race and gender come all the way to Jerusalem; to the wailing wall - The most sacred place on earth, for all major religions. They come to make requests and wishes concerning almost any subject imaginable:

Mental and physical health, inner peace, serenity, success in ones career, financial stability and so much more.
People pray to find a companion, a partner, a good relationship, fertility and health. They wish sometimes to have children- a boy or a girl. They wish to return an unrequited love, or to be assisted in getting over failed love.

Some people request success in a new job or in a journey that has yet to be taken.
Some ask for forgiveness and absolution for a sin committed, a wrong that has been done, or misbehavior.

Others pray for solace, comfort and inner peace.
And there are also those who thank god for showing them the way, or from keeping them from harm. They thank god for the goodness in their lives, for evil that has been avoided, or for disasters they managed to avoid.
